Creao AI: our analysis
Turn a conversation into a reusable agent wired into your own tools — without writing code.
On paper, one of the more credible no-code agent platforms right now: an experienced team, $25M raised, positive early reception. What’s missing is time — independent customer reviews are still close to nonexistent. We’re presenting this as documented analysis, not a hands-on test: try it on something that doesn’t matter before you trust it with something that does.
What is it, exactly?
Creao AI is an agent platform: instead of answering once and forgetting, a conversation produces a persistent agent wired into your own tools — inbox, code repos, spreadsheets, roughly thirty integrations claimed — that repeats the task on demand. Founded in 2024 in Cupertino, the company has raised $25M, including a round led by Prosperity7 Ventures in April 2026.
The no-code agent space is crowded — dozens of players by 2026 — and Creao’s claimed traction (200,000 users since launch) puts it in the leading pack. But the product is young, and the independent-review ecosystem around it is close to empty. That’s the one thing capping our score here.
What we verified — and what we didn’t
Full transparency: unlike our GLM and HappyScribe pages, this one is not a hands-on trial. We verified the company (real, funded, identifiable team), its reputation (positive on Product Hunt, no red flags on commercial practice, but very few independent customer reviews), and whether its claims hold together. We have not yet run a Creao agent against a real workload — this page will be updated once we have.
That review gap isn’t a hidden flaw — it’s the normal state of a product that shipped in late 2025. But it calls for a specific approach: start on the free or entry tier, on a task where failure costs nothing, and connect only non-critical accounts to it.
Pricing
Creao runs freemium: a genuine free tier (no card required), a Pro plan around $20/month ($16/month billed annually), and team tiers reported up to roughly $150/month. Like any product this young, the pricing ladder moves — check the live page, and be wary on principle of annual commitments to a platform with under two years of track record.
Strengths and reserves
- The core promise — chat produces a reusable agent — is delivered, not just marketed
- Ready connectors for everyday tools (inbox, code, spreadsheets)
- Seriously funded ($25M, Prosperity7) and an experienced team — low risk of the company vanishing overnight
- Close to zero independent customer reviews as of this check — you’d be an early adopter
- The agent sees everything you connect it to — settle that trust question before you connect, not after
- Early users describe the builder as still rough on long, multi-turn conversations
Frequently asked questions
Is Creao AI trustworthy?
The company checks out: verifiable $25M funding, an identifiable team, no red flags in our August 2026 review. The product is harder to call — independent customer reviews are still very thin. Our recommendation: trial it on something non-critical before committing further.
Is there a free, local alternative?
Yes, if you can write a bit of code: CrewAI or LangChain on top of Ollama let you build local, free, private agents — your data never leaves your machine. It’s more integration work, and that’s exactly what Creao is selling you out of. Our guides cover both approaches.
Can I connect my work inbox to an AI agent?
Technically yes — that’s the whole point of the product. The real question is governance: a connected agent reads whatever you give it access to. Check your company’s policy first, and never connect an account that touches regulated data.
